Meet Our Staff
Fred C. Heros, DDS
Dr. Heros is originally from Havana, Cuba and moved here with his family as a young child. He has been in Memphis ever since. Dr. Heros graduated from Catholic High School and the University of Memphis, formerly Memphis State University, with a degree in Microbiology. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 1975 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery and has been in private practice ever since. He and his wife Gayle have three daughters, Christie McGee (husband, Kelly), Anita Heros, and Lisa Ellis (husband, Scott). They have three grandchildren, Steven, Madelyne, and Isabel.
Dr. Heros is a member and former president of the Memphis Dental Society and the Tennessee Dental Association. He volunteers for the Church Health Center, and the Bellevue mobile unit. He has been the recipient of many awards including Outstanding Alumni at UT (2012), the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award (2013), and has been inducted into the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He attends the annual TDA convention and the annual Mid South Dental Congress and has over 1000 continuing education credits in all aspects of dentistry.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing racquetball, spending time with his family at the lake and the beach, and playing with his new puppy Lolita.
Christie
Christie serves as office manager for Covington Pike Dental. She has been with us since 1995. She worked in Labor and Delivery as a registered nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women from 1999-2008. She graduated from Saint Agnes Academy and Baptist College of Health Science with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an Associates in Healthcare Administration. She enjoys spending time with her husband Kelly and their two children Steven and Maddie and vacationing at the beach.
Haley
Haley joined our team in 2004 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is now serving as one of our dental hygienists after completing her Associate of Allied Health Science in Dental Hygiene at Concorde in 2013. She is newly married to her husband, Drew. They enjoy spending their spare time at the lake with their two fur babies.
Alexis
Alexis is a registered dental assistant with certifications in dental radiology. She joined our front desk team in February 2018 after graduating from Concorde Career College in October of 2017. In addition, she works at Gentle Care Animal Hospital where she has been a receptionist for several years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Trey, riding their Harley Davidson, and playing with her "pack" of fur babies.
Kristin
Kristin joined our team in 2011. She serves as one of our dental hygienists. She is a graduate of Saint Agnes Academy and received her Associate of Allied Health Science in Dental Hygiene at Concorde after attending University of Memphis. She enjoys spending time with her four children, Stormi, Corey, Zoey, and Logan.
Arreonna
Arreonna is a registered dental assistant with certifications in dental radiology. She joined our team in October of 2022. She is a graduate of Whitehaven High School and Concorde Career College. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks and cooking.
